EMILY BIOGRAPHY
An actress with talent and poise, Emily Deschanel has established herself as one of Hollywood's hottest rising stars. Her recent film credits include "Glory Road" opposite Josh Lucas for producer Jerry Bruckheimer. She has also appeared in the feature films "Cold Mountain" for Anthony Minghella; "The Alamo" for John Lee Hancock; Sam Raimi's "Spider-Man 2," "Boogeyman" for Stephen Kay and Jane Weinstock's "Easy."

In October 2004, Interview magazine named Deschanel one of "6 Actors to Watch" in its annual "Young Hollywood" issue.

Deschanel's television credits include guest appearances on the series "Crossing Jordan," "Providence" and "Law & Order: SVU" and the Stephen King miniseries "Rose Red." Recent theater credits for Deschanel, a member of the Interact Theatre Company, include the roles of "Emily" in "Our Town" and "Natasha" in "Three Sisters."

Deschanel was born in Los Angeles and received her B.F.A. in Theater from Boston University
