Emily Deschanel Says a Bones-Booth Pregnancy Unlikely Next Season
Posted by Hayley90 Comments
Not only did Bones and Booth not have baby-making sex on Bones last season, they probably aren't going to creating a l'il Brennan anytime soon, as Bones star Emily Deschanel says it's unlikely her character will become pregnant anytime soon.
"There are complications along the way of [Temperance and Booth] discussing having children," Emily explained during an appearance at the 49th Annual Monte Carlo Television Festival in Monaco. "I think it's very possible she will be pregnant in the future but I don't think its going to happen right away. I think she has some growing to do."
"Everyone is aware that once you get the two characters together you lose that glue that holds the show together, which is that sexual tension," she said. "I think they are being very careful about how to move forward without destroying that tension."
*#@%!!!
Emily also revealed part of season five's guest-star lineup, which includes a very famous lady rock star…
Apparently performer Cyndi Lauper will be stopping by next year. Emily said, "I don't think [Cyndi] will be playing herself, but I'm not sure what role she'll play, they're debating it now." Emily says the guest gig came about when, "I sang 'Girls Just Want To Have Fun' in one episode. She saw it and was interested in being in the show. She was an idol from when I was a child so I will probably be beside myself that day."
Stephen Fry will also be backk, and it's still true that Emily's sis Zooey Deschanel may stop by the Bones set one of these days. (FYI, Emily's cinematographer father Caleb Deschanel has directed a Bones episode, and her mother Mary Jo Deschanel, an actress, guested on House last season as Kutner's mourning mother.)
Question: Any more Bones scoop? Pretty please? --Charlee Ann Ausiello: Since it doesn't look like Brennan and Booth will be having real sex anytime soon, how about Brennan and her bisexual BFF Angela? "We've never discussed that but I wouldn't put it past [producers]," says Emily Deschanel with a chuckle. "I feel like Brennan's the type of character that if she had feelings for a woman she wouldn't question that and she'd go for it. But it would be kind of complicated with her best friend."
Fox Picks Bones Up for Two More Seasons
Posted by Hayley0 Comments
Capping one of the upfront season’s most prolonged back-and-forths over the licensing fee paid by the network to the studio, Fox has decided to renew Bones — for a fifth and sixth season.
Executive producer Hart Hanson announced the pick-up on Saturday, via his Twitter account. Later, Hanson confirmed that Fox had ordered not just one but two more seasons.
Bones likely will be paired on Thursday nights with So You Think You Can Dance, which this year will be launching a fall season veritably on the heels of this summer’s cycle.
Bones joins Lie to Me, Fringe, Dollhouse and 24 as Fox’s officially announced returning dramas for the 2009-10 TV season.
I have a question...I am post of Bones-Daily.Com and add Bones caps and stills there all the time. What would you think of me using bones-daily.com gallery for this site too? Then I only have to update one gallery instead of two, but you still get the pictures of David and Emily. Please let me know by commenting.
Bones Gets a 'Toon-Up: Boreanaz and "Stewie" Talk Smack
Posted by Hayley0 Comments
As Bones' Booth ponders becoming a family man, he'll get a visit from Family Guy's Stewie, in a "crossover" episode slated to air May 7.
The set-up for this unusual merger of genres: When Bones' Brennan asks Booth to father her a child, the normally nonplussed federal agent becomes consumed by the prospect of procreating. That, coupled with an undiagnosed health issue Booth is suffering from, sets the stage for a visit from diabolical Stewie, who tenders advice to the prospective pop.
Asked about his Bones drop-by, Stewie said in a statement, "Oh, have you seen it? Was I good? Because I heard they said I was amazing and they want me to replace Emily [Deschanel]. But that's just a rumor."
Boreanaz, in turn, says that Bones' wisecracking guest star "was good during the actual scenes ... but between takes he literally vanished — nowhere to be seen.
"I guess it's true that Brits and cartoons tend to be standoffish," adds Boreanaz. "Or maybe it was a Method thing, I don't know."
What's your honest take, Bones backers, on this super-strange crossover?
Bones Buzz about Bare Bods in Bed, a Baby and More
Posted by Hayley0 Comments
To hear Bones bosses Hart Hanson, Barry Josephson and Stephen Nathan tell it, the remainder of this season offers much for those longing for an even stronger Brennan-Booth relationship, if not romance.
Addressing the well-known spoiler than Bones and Booth soon will "wind up in bed together, naked," I pressed the producers on what sounds like just another perhaps-misleading tease. "Something is going to happen," says Hanson. "It's much less a cheat than the kiss [done on a bet during Season 3] was."
Nathan then reminds us of the scoop that Bones — whose biological clock is feeling "a little tick-tock" — will ask Booth to father her baby, "and we'll find out whether or not that's actually possible." (Um, why wouldn't it be? Doesn't Tab A simply go in Slot B...?)
The execs also preview several returns, including more appearances by Booth's brother, and reveal why it's been so hard to get Emily Deschanel's indie darling real-life sister, Zooey, to guest-star on the show.
I have finally opened the video section! There's not much there at the moment, but I have added a season 4 B-Roll and the season 4 EPK (Electronic Press Kit), as well as a Bones promo. There are also screencaps in the gallery. See the Videos and Screencaps.

Over the course of the next two days, the TV Addict has once again been given the incredible opportunity to take part in a FOX Press Junket. So if you’ve got any questions for any of the following FOX stars, please post away in the comments below and I’ll endeavor to get them answered.
24’s Keifer Sutherland and Mary Lynn Rajskub. BONES’ David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel. DOLLHOUSE’s Eliza Dushku, Tahmoh Penikiett and Joss Whedon. FRINGE’s John Noble. GLEE’s Cory Monteith. HELL’S KITCHEN’s Gordon Ramsay. HOUSE’s Lisa Edelstein and Olivia Wilde. THE OSBOURNES’ Sharon, Ozzy, Kelly and Jack. TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES’ Brian Austin Green and Garret Dillahunt. And finally, LIE TO ME’s Tim Roth, Kelli Williams, Brendan Hines and Ria Torres.
Sorry for the lack of updates. I have been on holiday. I have added screencaps from 4x04 to the gallery. Caps from 4x05 will be added in the next day or two.
I also added stills from a later episode (4x07) "The He in the She".
Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz are stuck in a Mini Cooper, just steps from where East meets West.
The little red car has just been in an "accident" and is facing oncoming traffic near the Greenwich Royal Observatory, the location on the bank of the Thames River from where all times zones are measured.
The stars of "Bones" have come to England to film the premiere episode of the Fox drama's fourth season, and they've brought all their characters' emotional baggage with them.
So inevitably, Deschanel's Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan and Boreanaz's Special Agent Seeley Booth are not just arguing about how to drive on the left side of the road, but also about how they feel about each other.
"She says I'm not an adaptable character," says Boreanaz, explaining that one of the themes running through the double episode is Booth "fighting to become part of the system here in England -- the traditions and what not -- though as the show progresses, he slowly starts to understand them and embraces them."
TNT picked up the off-network rights to Twentieth Television’s Bones, which will premiere on the cable network Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 10 p.m. and then air in that time slot weekly.
The show, inspired by the crime novels of real-life forensic anthropologist Kathy Reichs, is in its third season on Fox.
“With a smart sense of humor and memorable characters, Bones fits perfectly within the TNT lineup of world-class crime dramas, alongside top-rated original series like The Closer and Saving Grace and acquired series like Cold Case, Without a Trace and Law & Order,” said Ken Schwab, senior vice president of programming for TNT and TBS. Bones, starring Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz, is executive-produced by Hart Hanson, Barry Josephson and Stephen Nathan.
Farm Sanctuary Gala Exclusive: Emily Deschanel Celebrates 16 Years Of Veganism
Posted by Hayley0 Comments
Like an Everlasting Gobstopper’s infinite flavor or the Energizer Bunny’s will to keep going, Ecorazzi is unstoppable in our delivery of exclusive celebrity interviews from the 2008 Farm Sanctuary Gala. From Melissa and Swoosie to Rory, Russell and even Dennis, we’ve got the inside scoop on all things animal.
As the night continued I found my way over to the very stunning Emily Deschanel. I saw Emily two years ago at the Gala, but this was my first time saying hello. Truthfully, I have a wicked crush on her sister, Zooey, and I wanted my opening question to be: is your sister single? But I thought maybe that wouldn’t be the BEST way to start an interview with someone I’d never met. So I stayed professional and here’s what she had to say:
Parrish: Hey Emily! Well first off, I was so impressed when I found out you’ve been vegan for 16 years. Is that right?
Emily Deschanel: 15 or 16 years now. I’d have to count back. I’ll think about it and get back to you.
David and Emily were at FOX UpFront yesterday. Pictures are in the gallery!
Emily Deschanel Just Wants to Have Fun
Posted by Hayley0 Comments
As she does most every weekend, Bones star Emily Deschanel is spending her Sunday morning shopping at a Hollywood farmers' market near her home.
A strict vegan, she has avoided all animal products for 15 years, ever since watching a documentary about the meat industry. Her lifestyle extends to avoiding leather clothing or consuming even honey because "sometimes," she says, "they kill the bees." As a result, she is forced to forgo many samples along the route.
But Deschanel's icy character, forensic anthropologist Temperance "Bones" Brennan, has no problem interacting with freshly butchered bodies on the Fox crime drama. With two episodes remaining in the third season (Mondays, 8 p.m. ET/PT), Deschanel hints that viewers will soon learn the shocking identity of cannibalistic serial killer Gormogon's apprentice.
She and her on-screen crime-solving partner, David Boreanaz (FBI Agent Booth), were named producers on the show this season, which has upped their creative input.
"David had it in his contract, and I think they wanted to do something to make me feel equal with him, which is nice," she explains. "We're definitely more involved in the show and where it goes ... if there are story lines or plot points we feel aren't right for the characters."
Hey everyone! I added scans of Emily and David from the Winter issue of Hollywood life to my gallery over at Emily Deschanel Network and I wanted to post a link for you guys until I have time to add them to the gallery over here. Check them out HERE! They're gorgeous.
David Boreanaz Sheds Light on 'Bones'
Posted by Hayley0 Comments
Unlike most forensic procedurals, Bones focuses more on the relationship between living people than its dead bodies. This, according to lead actor David Boreanaz, is one of the reasons why the show has stayed fresh for many years.
“For me, I've always maintained that the show is about the relation. It's about the characters, about the two of us [Seeley Booth and Temperance Brennan] learning through solving a crime," said Boreanaz, who isn't really fond of serial killer storylines.
According to Boreanaz, who plays Special Agent Seeley Booth on the series, the coming episodes of Bones will focus on his character's past, his family background and upbringing and possibly, the romantic complications involving Booth and Brennan (Emily Deschanel), following their kiss in the Christmas episode.
So far, Bones has shifted its TV schedule three times in its three-season run but that doesn't seem to bother Boreanaz, who remains confident that the show will thrive no matter what timeslot it may land.
"It's always difficult to say how these things will work out," he said. "We did better before Idol than we did after Idol. I don't think anyone could have anticipated that. I don't tell people where the show should be placed... that's not my job. My job as an actor is to come in and portray a character and do the best that I can. I can't get caught up in what time slot it's in, or where they're moving it to, or what it's paired with. I do know that it's a quality show, and the best on television as far as a relationship show is concerned. With these new episodes, I think you'll see the relationship just take off."
Fans can catch a new episode of Bones, which also stars Michaela Conlin, Eric Millegan, T. J. Thyne and Tamara Taylor, every Monday at 8/7c on FOX.
Midway through a conference call with David Boreanaz -- who plays the boisterously unschooled FBI agent on Bones (8 p.m. Monday on Fox, Global) -- one of my critical colleagues makes the mistake of referring to the crime drama with the Moonlighting twist as "a bubble show," implying that if ratings don't improve, it could be toast.
"I'm sorry," Boreanaz responds testily. "You say our show is on the bubble?"
I'm not, the anonymous journalist insists, but I've read a few things.
"Where did you read that?" demands the easily riled actor, also the show's co-producer.
The critic, a bit surprised by the reaction, says he can't remember.
"Well you can't just throw something like that out there," snips Boreanaz like a high-school teacher chewing out a negligent student. "If you're saying our show is in trouble, I'd love to know the source of that one. I mean, you can't just say to me the show is on the bubble and you read it and you don't know where it came from!"
The poor sap, trying to diffuse things, claims his "bubble" comment came from many different sources.
"Well, it must be a pretty big source to say that to an actor on a show!" grouses Boreanaz, heading into overdrive. "Or for me to say 'Your column is being cancelled!' and then you ask me where I read that and I say 'I read a lot of things!' . . . (silently fuming) . . . I don't get that question!"
The journalist, mortified and mute, says nothing and the line goes dead for what seems an eternity.
Finally, Boreanaz, satisfied he's made his point, collects himself. "But, I mean, to answer your question, I don't think the show is 'on the bubble'. It's a very successful show. We're a cult show that thrives on relationships and we've proven if we're on Wednesday or Tuesday or Friday or even Monday that our fans will follow us. If I hear any different, like you're telling me, then I'd have to investigate that."
Actor David Boreanaz, 38, son Jaden Rayne, 5 ½, has already developed his first crush - and that's on David's co-star Emily Deschanel, 31, from the show Bones. Says David,
My son Jaden, who's five, insists that Emily is his girlfriend. So, you know, Emily's very proud of that.
Jaden's mother is David's wife, model Jaime Bergman, 32.
I have added screencaps from the last episode "3.11 Player Under Pressure". Please note: There is an album called 3x11 Player Under Pressure, but they aren't the caps. There is a problem with coppermine and I can't delete the album, so until I can figure out what it is, the album will have to stay! I also updated the next episode part.
It took a few hours, but the site is now fully open! All except the video section, which will be open soon. You can now view all sections. Also, we are looking for affiliates, so please APPLY!.
The comments section is now fixed to, and the "next episode" has been updates.
If you see any weird looking pages, don't worry! I am currently working on making pages for the site content. I will also be making a video archive. I hope to get it all done soon.
Sorry for the lack of updates. Hopefully when Bones is airing again, there will be more to update with!
Anyway, David was at "Prada Presents Trembled Blossoms LA" event yesterday. A few pictures in the gallery.
Hart Hanson on How the Strike Has Affected Bones
Posted by Michelle0 Comments
Bones (Fox) •Next new episode: April 14 (moves to Mondays) •New episodes to come: 6
Executive producer Hart Hanson realized how much he missed work when he arrived to restart Bones, which has an odd couple of crime-solvers, bone expert Temperance "Bones" Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and FBI agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz). "The moment I drove on the lot for the first time in three months, I got a little choked up."
Staff and crew are excited to be be back. Hanson heard about one show employee who had, but didn't wear, a T shirt that said: "Don't apologize. Just pay my mortgage." Hanson says he would have laughed if he had seen it.
The writers talked about the strike "for three minutes" before figuring out how to approach the shortened season. "We've adjusted our storytelling several times," he says. "Booth's family story is just gone. It will go into Season 4. … We don't want to give it short shrift."
All you JUSTICE LEAGUE fans pay attention because Warner Premiere, DC Comics and Warner Bros. Animation are releasing Justice League: The New Frontiere on DVD, February 26.
And for all you TV lovers, you might be interested to know that some of the voices featured include: David Boreanaz, Brooke Shields, Lucy Lawless, Neil Patrick Harris, Miguel Ferrer, Kyra Sedgwick, Jeremy Sisto and Kyle MacLachlan.
Hunky star David Boreanaz shows he is a real ‘Angel’ when it comes to animals after appearing in a new ad for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).
The actor, who now stars in the hit show Bones, appears in the advert with his dogs Fritz and Bertha Blue.
The ad also features the tagline “Be your dogs’ Angel. Play with them … take them for nice long walks … don’t ever chain them.”
Boreanaz signed on for the campaign after seeing photos of dogs chained up and left without food or water.
A spokesperson for PETA said: “Every day, millions of dogs are left chained and unattended in backyards across the US, shivering in the cold or panting from the heat, often with no more than a shoddy, makeshift shelter to protect them from the elements.
“Living day after day in isolation causes loneliness and distress for these social, pack-oriented animals.”
Boreanaz joins such stars as Simon Cowell, Missy Elliot, Edie Falco, Woody Harrelson, John McEnroe, Famke Janssen, Dominc Monaghan, Joaquin Phoenix and Willian Shatner, who have all appeared in ad campaigns for PETA.
The cast of BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER are to reunite for the first time since the hit show ended for a chat with fans at a TV festival in Los Angeles. Seth Green, Sarah Michelle Gellar and David Boreanaz are expected to attend the question and answer session, which has been organised as part of the William S. Paley Television Festival next month (Mar08). Green says, "I can't remember the last time everyone's been in the same place, so something hilarious is bound to happen."
